A new type of non-surgical rhinoplasty is taking the beauty world by storm. Called anose thread lift, this minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure can reshape and contour the nose without the need for surgery. And the best part is, it really works!

In this blog post, we'll discuss everything you need to know about thread lifts for the nose, including what to expect during and after the procedure.

Why is the nose thread lift so popular?

Nose reshaping balances the facial features and can do wonders for a person's self-esteem. However, what happens if you hate the results?

It's not unheard of for people to regret having rhinoplasty. It can take up to a year to visualize the final results of the surgery, and sometimes the results do not suit the individual's face.

In comparison to surgery, the nose thread lift produces near-immediate results, and the results are temporary, only lasting one to two years. We asked our patients why they decided to get the procedure, and the unanimous response was the possibility of trying out a different nose shape without the commitment and trauma of surgery.

How is a nose thread lift performed?

A thread lift is performed by inserting tiny threads into the nose. These threads then act as anchors to lift and shape the bridge of the nose. The results are immediate and can last for up to two years. And because there is no surgery involved, there is very little downtime.

Here's a rundown of what you can expect during your nose thread lift. First, your doctor will numb your nose with local anesthesia. Then, they will insert thin threads into your nose. These threads will be used to lift and shape your nose. After the threads are in place, your doctor will trim them to the desired length. Finally, they will apply a dressing to your nose.

After your thread lift treatment

The PDO thread will get absorbed into your body over 4 to 6 months, with the results lasting approximately two years. You can expect some bruising and swelling after your nose thread lift. However, this should subside within a few days.

After your thread lift procedure, it's important to take care of yourself to ensure the best possible results. Here are a few aftercare tips:

  • Sleep with your head elevated for the first few nights.
  • Avoid strenuous activity or exposure to heat for the first few days.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing and avoid anything that puts pressure on your face.
  • Keep your incisions clean and dry.
  • Avoid sunlight or tanning beds for at least a week.

Following these simple aftercare instructions can help ensure that your nose thread lift results are long-lasting and beautiful.
